Tilt is a bi-annual online literary
magazine. We are open for submissions all year round.
Poetry

*Please write
'poetry submission' in the subject line of
your email.
*Send 2-4 poems within the body of one
email. Do not send attachments, they will be
discarded.
*Please include a brief bio and cover letter. Tilt
does not object to publishing someone without any publication credits
under their belt.
*Please allow 1-6 weeks for a response. If you have not
heard from us after six weeks, please feel free to send us a query.
*We do not accept simultaneous submissions or work previously
published on the internet. We do however, accept work previously published
in print but please include the publication credit.
What type of poetry
is Tilt looking for?
We are fond of work filled with rich language and innovative imagery. Free
verse is strongly preferred. We have no length restrictions.

at a time.
*No more than 3,000 words.
*Please allow 1-6 weeks for a response. If you have not
heard from us after six weeks, please feel free to send us a query.
*We accept simultaneous submissions for fiction only
but please let us know ASAP if your work has been accepted elsewhere.
*Any style, any genre. Be sure your work is rich and
leaves a lasting impression.

Publishing Rights:
We require
first serial and electronic rights if the piece has not been previously
published. After publication, all rights revert back to the author. If
the piece is first published in Tilt, we ask this be acknowledged
upon reprinting the piece. We hold the right to keep a copy of the work
in our site archives for the duration of the site. Authors retain all
copyrights to their work; remaining content is © Tilt.
